Berikut resep Cumi Saus Padang yang pedas, manis, dan gurih—pas banget buat lauk nasi hangat:

Bahan-bahan:

  • 500 gr cumi segar, bersihkan dan potong sesuai selera

  • 1 buah jeruk nipis (untuk menghilangkan amis)

  • 3 sdm minyak goreng

Bumbu halus:

  • 5 siung bawang merah

  • 3 siung bawang putih

  • 5 buah cabai merah keriting

  • 5 buah cabai rawit (sesuai selera)

  • 2 butir kemiri

  • 1 cm jahe

Bumbu tambahan:

  • 3 sdm saus sambal

  • 2 sdm saus tomat

  • 2 sdm saus tiram

  • 1 sdm kecap manis

  • ½ sdt garam

  • ½ sdt gula

  • ½ sdt merica

  • 150 ml air

  • 1 batang daun bawang, iris serong

Cara memasak:

  1. Siapkan cumi: Bersihkan cumi, lumuri dengan air jeruk nipis, diamkan 10 menit, lalu bilas.

  2. Tumis bumbu halus dengan minyak sampai harum dan matang.

  3. Masukkan saus sambal, saus tomat, saus tiram, kecap, garam, gula, dan merica, aduk rata.

  4. Tambahkan air, masak hingga mendidih.

  5. Masukkan cumi, masak 3–5 menit saja agar tidak alot.

  6. Terakhir, masukkan daun bawang, aduk sebentar, angkat.
